Data deletion instructions

If you connected Somea to Instagram or another Meta service, you can remove Somea from your Meta account settings. Meta may then send Somea a signed data-deletion request for the connected user.

You can also request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email associated with your Somea account and including the Instagram or Facebook account you want removed.

When Somea receives a valid Meta deletion request, we record the request, revoke the connected channel token, deactivate the channel, cancel pending scheduled jobs linked to that channel, and mark the request for completion.

Deletion covers Meta-connected identifiers, channel connection records, access tokens, pending scheduled jobs, and related integration data that Somea no longer needs to provide the service or meet legal, security, audit, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Somea cannot delete content, analytics, messages, or account information stored directly by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Google, or other third-party services. To remove data from those services, use the privacy and account tools provided by that service.

For Meta-initiated requests, Somea returns a confirmation code and status URL to Meta. If you contact us directly, we will confirm receipt and completion through the support channel used for the request.

We aim to process valid deletion requests promptly and generally target completion within 30 days. Some records may remain for a limited period when required for security, legal compliance, backups, dispute resolution, audit logs, or abuse prevention.

If you submitted a request but did not receive confirmation, or if you want deletion for data not covered by Meta's automated request, email [email protected] and include the Somea account email, space name, and connected Instagram or Facebook account.
