This Privacy Policy explains how Somea collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you visit the public website, create or use a Somea account, join a space, connect a third-party service, or contact us for support.

We may collect account details such as your name, email address, login identifiers, space name, team membership, role, preferences, prompts, captions, comments, approvals, scheduling choices, support messages, and other information you choose to enter into Somea.

When you connect an asset source such as Google Drive, Somea may process file names, folder selections, file metadata, thumbnails, images, videos, generated descriptions, embeddings, and related indexing data so the product can search, organize, and recommend relevant brand-owned media.

When you connect Instagram, Facebook, or another social channel, Somea may process the account identifiers, profile information, permissions, access tokens, connected channel status, scheduled posts, published media metadata, comments or engagement data where authorized, analytics, webhook events, and deletion or deauthorization signals needed to provide the integration.

We may collect basic technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, timestamps, referral source, app events, error logs, and security signals. We use this information to keep the website and product working, secure, and reliable.

We use information to provide and improve Somea, authenticate users, manage spaces and permissions, connect third-party services, index and retrieve assets, generate editorial directions, prepare and schedule content, provide analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, communicate with users, and comply with legal or platform obligations.

Somea may send selected prompts, captions, asset descriptions, images, video frames, or related context to AI service providers to power search, vision, drafting, recommendations, and generation features. We limit this processing to what is needed for the feature and do not use connected social channel tokens as AI prompts.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Somea, with connected services you authorize, with members of your space according to their permissions, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or financing.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the product, maintain security, meet legal or platform obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. Connected-service tokens and channel data are revoked, deleted, or deactivated when access is removed or a valid deletion request is processed, unless limited retention is required.

You can update account information, remove connected services where supported, delete or change content inside the product, revoke third-party access from the provider account, or contact us to request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service is completely secure, so you should use strong credentials, limit team access to people who need it, and notify us if you believe an account or integration has been compromised.

Somea is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in the user's jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as Somea, our providers, or legal requirements change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, changing the effective date, or sending an in-product or email notice.
